Social Media News: Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Thursday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has found success with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is currently the top leader in the country and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Raut, who is currently on a tour of northern Maharashtra, said this when reporters asked him whether the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was planning to field state leaders in the Maharashtra elections.
I am not going through the media reports. There is no official statement on this. PM Narendra Modi has got the success of the BJP for the last seven years and he is currently the top leader of the country and his party,” the MP said.
Sanjay Raut Says:
Sanjay Raut’s statement of the Rajya Sabha leader came after a 30-minute one-on-one meeting between Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting between the two leaders sparked a lot of speculation in the political circles but Sena leaders said that Uddhav and PM Modi discussed the nomination of 12 members to the Legislative Council and other political issues.
Yes, we had met separately. We may not be together politically, but that doesn’t mean we have severed our relationship. I didn’t go to meet Nawaz Sharif. The chief minister said Modiji. There is nothing wrong with meeting in person.
