PM-WANI scheme approved: PM WiFi facility will now be available in shops and streets across the country

The Wi-Fi revolution is coming after the digital revolution within the country. For this, the cupboard has approved the PM-Public Wi-Fi Access Network Interface (PM Vani) scheme headed by PM Modi. Giving information about the PM-Vani scheme, Union Minister Shankar Prasad said that after the digital revolution within the country, now the Wi-Fi revolution is close to begin.

After the implementation of this scheme, the commoner won’t need any big company plan for internet. additionally , thanks to the Wi-Fi revolution, high-speed Internet are going to be available in remote areas of the country. the govt will work on three levels to implement this scheme. this may include public data offices, public data aggregators and app providers. Public data centers are going to be opened across the country under the PM Vani scheme.

There is no licensing fee and no registration required for a public data center. Public data office aggregators are going to be appointed across the country which can provide public WiFi service across the country through Public Data Office (PDO). The PDO office will actually be nation shop. Shoppers desiring any additional license are going to be ready to start PDOs. Importantly, by taking a Wi-Fi subscription from the PDO center, people around are going to be ready to access the web easily. the govt announced the move to form data connections and access to the web easier for the whole country under Digital India.
